I use a Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen. A fine nib for the main part of the inking of characters and some backgrounds. And small nib for finer details in guns and of course parts of the backgrounds. Then I outline the characters to make them 'pop' out from the background with a Medium nib. These pens use India Ink so they don't bleed and keep a constant line. The style I prefer for WhoGirl. And if one looks at the origional pages, can see the ink spreads on thick. They also sell a brush pen for those that like the varience in the line weight as they draw.
Sometimes if I can't get the other (the art store i get them at sells out of them very frequently. and theres a good reason why). I go to a back up of Zig Millinieum pens. Which are pigment ink. Don't bleed on the paper, but the lines they leave are a bit water-down looking compared to the former I spoke of. The scanner doesn't see the difference, but I can see the origional. And Zig pens use numbers for different sizes. 01 through 08. 08 being the thickest.
For coloring in the black areas, I actually just use different sizes of Sharpies, depending on how big or small the area I need to color in of course. And if the area is too big, I just paint bucket it black with my photoshop. Or if I just feel lazy
There you go, and welcome to the forum! Hope you keep posting.

Manga studio? That is that paint program that sets up the comic pages and panels, shading and such isn't it? I believe I saw it at CompUSA.
But at the moment all the stuff I do on paper is just WhoGirl. Since I got my Wacom, I have been doing my other comics directly to computer, since bristol board can really add up. All I have to worry about now is computer space.
Mainly for experimental comics that I usually start and am not satisfied with because I feel there needs to be some tweeking. A big waste of paper. I have so many started stories that I was not happy with.

Yeah. You can shade, ink, add effects[movement/action, etc], and those speech bubbles. You can also use it to CG pictures like photoshop and open canvas.
I say it a Fry's xP
I use my Wacom to color and ink because I hate using the laptop pad and mouse.

Yes I hate using the mouse too to do art. I get that 'etcha-sketch effect'. Still can't believe the results some people get with a mouse with their art.

I used to draw with a mouse, but it was hard. until I figured out it's easier to get a big sheet, and zoom in to do the lines slowly...then after that all you got to worry about is coloring. But none of my mouse junk is colored, because I'm horrible with inking. Lol.
