Greetings, fellow Whogirl fans! Instead of lurking, I’ve finally taken the plunge and registered on the forum, so that means, I’m a newbie, and will have newbie questions; but I’m sure it won’t be too long before you get me up to speed.
First, a speculative question: Any ideas on who our heroine is zeroing in on in the last panel?
I vote for the Mad Harlequin, a person I want to know a lot more about (except the name of his tailor). Probably has come to retrieve his blade…..

I'm curious why there's a heart in the "BA-BUMP" sound diagram... thingy...

If I had to guess, I would say that meant her heart did a flip-flop in her chest (much like a certain Girl Genius), thinking about Stu, and our heroine is very irritated to be so powerfully attracted to him. It’s classic, really.

Oh. I’m sure Stu is intrigued by the Whogirl, it’s just not something he’s consciously aware of yet. The official story of why he’s in Asher Burrows is that it was “just for the job” but as we saw in redwhotape.brinkster.net/page_100.html , the real reason is he’s following a lady he knows has moved here; perhaps a former girlfriend he can’t forget? We’ll see as more of the story unfolds. (I will say that our heroines ‘wardrobe malfunction’ has made a significant crack in that armor, as evidenced by his hypnotized stare…………)
