So, You've made the Whogirl a dark character now. We liked her because she was on an edge, but still spunky. However, she killed another person when their back was turned, and by the look that was drawn on her face, she was thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though the other guy was a jerk and evil, he was at a point that he could barely stand up from gunshot wounds, and she nabbed him from behind. That's not a very heroic way to kill someone. The main character, the Whogirl, had a nice persona. Don't make us hate her now. We can't read about someone we dislike. So you should do something soon to redeem her. The artwork still looks great, though! Good luck!

yah, I understand that innocent people were about to die, but it's just one of those moments that will stay in my mind whenever I see the Whogirl. She was heroic in a sense that she wanted to save those other people, I just wished she hadn't saved them so... brutally. The image of the multiple bullets in the guy's back, and the sblack person on the Whogirl's is the image I think of now, when I see the Whogirl. It'd be nice if she confronted the evil dude before she killed him, or faced him and told him to f**k off and die or something. It'd somehow be more "noble", and she would make herself look more like the hero she's made out to be. Hopefully, the Whogirl will do some even better heroic saving later on, to make up for her naughty heroic saving.

As the Assitant Editor of this comic I must defend. Okay, the artist is trying to make this seem pretty realistic in senario. No honestly, in real life, no one who is defending themself as well as having at least five other people on their line would not wait for the guy to turn around. Not even I. The other guy killed a woman from behind as well. Anyways, everyones got a dark side. So far we have known Whogirl to be completely random. Goofy, Spunky, Attitude. Well this is just a change. She is a very well rounded character, like most humans and she too has the natural instinct for survival. So this scene was as realistic as it could get, which is what the artist was probably aiming for. Can't win them all ya'know.

Yeah, I suppose you've proven your point. I still don't really like what happened, but I'm interested in seeing what will happen later. Having a dark side DOES make it interesting, because she is on an edge between good and evil, and makes the readers unknowing and stuff. Maybe that was the artist's point? I'm assuming the evil dude (i don't know his name) is dead. I guess I was just disappointed that he was gotten rid of so quickly. He was kind of a neat villain with his trenchcoat and all. So there must be an evil-er and and creepier villain out there to take the Whogirl on!
And I can't wait to find out more about who this Whogirl actually is!

Sorry I have not replied to this post sooner. But I finally really sat down and got a chance to. Didn't want you to think I was ignoring you Risdude. ;D.
Actually in drawing it I did think it seemed pretty brutal. As I progressed across the page since I do try to think of things to allow a page to stand alone for each update, I had thought about something for her to say. Because I suppose with anime, manga, comics, movies, and such. We expect the hero to say something before taking out the bad guy, or give them the chance to run, to validate the hero did not enjoy having to execute someone. I went the way I did because well, at times I do go the realistic route to enhance the scene and actions. And of course I think about the WhoGirl herself. And what her character is like. I tried to establish the rashness of her personality when she is angered or excited, with the blasting away of a guy that was just being a male chauvenist jerk. I'm not insulted or round-about saying well you should accept what I am doing and like it. I certainly hope you don't think that. But I try to figure out how the WhoGirl would act in certain situations, and figure out which is the best to go. And for some reason I didn't feel a one-liner would be suited here especially being fired upon by someone and hurridly trying to stop more people of The Nothings from being killed.
As for the enjoyment on her face. This is totally true LOL. I thought of that while I was drawing. Due to the angle I drew her (slightly above looking down) it gave her a look of a smirk. I actually try my best at keeping in mind how a characters face would look from different angles. And as you know, WhoGirl has distintive looking lips. point at the front and curls up on the sides. So I tried to draw the lips from that perspective. I guess it could be taken as a smirk or just a straight face if one studies it. So it can be taken either way according to how the reader desires her to.
But I hope you stick around for the WhoGirl and I do love hearing your opinion. Because it did make me think on how people think of the whogirl. Because I am pretty sure there are others that thought the same.
But I am trying to not do the standard storyline of cliches and such. The story is mainly based on the people and how they react and act. Of course I will 'caricatureize' their actions, other times I will be realistic. But overall, I hope you enjoy where the story will be heading. And thanks for taking time to make your thoughts and opinion known. This goes for anyone that writes on this forum.

He was kind of a neat villain with his trenchcoat and all. I know this is an old post, but as you can see, there's plenty of trench-coated goodness to go around! I love trench coats.
