Here's the official thread for the first WhoGirl RolePlay. WHOOOO!!! Oh and yes, this is chapter one. Back a few years ago when I RPed constantly, I soon learned that time and again you have to start a new chapter or game.

Ok, just to make sure everyone knows whats going on,
Here is the list of people rping and their characters. If you wish to join the RP, please see the Character Claims page.

Just a few rules. Please note, the rules are subject to change as the RP progresses.


1. Keep it clean, ;D We're all here to have fun, eh?

2. If you're speaking outside of the game, please use some sort of indecation. ( like this. hello!!)

3. Try to be literate. "Use quotation marks for speaking."

4. If you're in a fight scene, give the other person a chance to defend. (Don't mod) If the other side doesn't respond in 5 days after your post, you can make a secondary attack. If the person doesn't respond in 7 days, they may be eliminated from the game.

5. If your chacter is in a scene, and doesn't respond in 3 days of being cue, you will be notified via PM as a reminder.

6. If you know you may not be able to be online or respond for some number of days (going on vacation, only using net on weekends, etc.) - please let us know in a post. This is to keep the game from dying and for the fun of others.

7. Remember. it's a game Have fun, kay?

WhoGirl was jogging, underground through an underground sewer. She was wearing her light purple cookie tank top, and her usual accesories - an enourmous belt with metal bulbs, two hairbobs -one yellow, one green, both with X's for eyes, and a smile drawn on one, the other..a frown- a pair of fishnet stockings, a pair of steel-toed boots, one on which had been written "UR BUTT HERE!" , a leather wristband with bulbs on one arm, and a fingerlless glove on the other, and of coarse her angry teddy pack.

She continued her way down the long sewer, splashing along in the water less than an inch deep, until finally reaching an old ladder. She climbed up the ladder and popped her head out of a man hole. WhoGirl looked around to get a good sense of her surroundings. After climbing out, she pulled out her goggles from her teddy pack and started on her way. She currently was out in a back alley, one of many in The Nothings. She made her way to a main road, and walked along the side walk, just looking around at the passing people and into some shop windows, just minding her own business.

I'm really in the mood for a doggie about now. Maybe I should try a new place, for a change of pace."

(I may be a bit rusty at this RP thing at first, it's been an awful long time. But hey, I tried. ^^; heh.

Rice took the bandage off his chin and inspected the cut in the mirror. He sighed and placed a new bandage over it.

He arrives at the station in the morning, as usual. The usual greetings and smalltalk of the station give the feeling of any other office job. Though, as soon as the uniform is worn and his police car door opened, the feeling is replaced by a certain determination. It was stronger than any he felt in any of his previous employers. His purpose was very clear to him, which kept any doubt off his mind.

An uncanny thought did cross his mind, and that was of the girl who gave him the scratch. He did forget her, like she told him, but he did not forget her gang.

'More like military resistance,' he thought.

He looked at the time, and realized he was to patrol by himself that day. He turned the ignition and drove towards his patrol route.

Life could be pretty boring when you thought about it.

Mostly thanks to the monotomous trivialities of day to day life, eating, working, sleeping, socializing, it was all pretty basic and lacked the kind of complexity that Ciel desired from her life.

Then again, taking a job at her uncle's diner didn't help much either.

At least, she didn't think so before.

"Ok gramps, here's the deal, my crew and I are a pretty hungry and short on cash. So how about just putting the bill on my tab again huh?" A laugh insued from the three men present at table number 5.

Ciel looked over to her uncle to try and make out the response before it came, though she had a pretty good idea of what he wanted to say, she had previously argued with him about cowards, dignity and what not, idealistic things you know? And had hoped that her words had left atleast a small echo inside his mind now.

"N-n-no...Y-your tab is high enough as it is, I-i can't let you just come in here everyday and eat our food without paying...so, if you don't have enough to pay...p-please leave now!" her uncle cried out in a terrified voice that didn't convince her of his conviction in the whole thing. But atleast he stood up for himself and she was ready to back him up on this.

"You heard him, we won't allow you freeloaders to hang around here for a free meal anymore! So get lost!" She yelled, pointing her broom at the trio from table five.

They looked at each other and laughed, Ciel flinched in anger.

"I guess gramps and his cute little waitress had enough of his best customers guys. Maybe we should leave huh?" A tall muscular man wearing a tuque on his head despite the warm weather got up and said, shrugging with a big smile on his face.

"Really, such ingrates thought. After all, we come here every day. Shouldn't we get some kind of reward for such being such loyal customers?" A shorter man, maybe around his twenties, said from his seat. He leered at Ciel, which made her gulp with disgust.

Ciel had...propably not thought this through well enough. Although it sounded like a good plan at the time, the lack of people (the rest had mysteriously dissapeared after her uncle told the men to pay their tab) and the poor location of their diner, left little to no one who would care to help them.

Though maybe...well, the biggest of the men looked like simple construction workers, on break and slightly drunk perhaps judging from the strange look in this eyes. The second one, the one that had leered at her, seemed to be a policeman and more than likely had a gun in his possession.

But before she could even come up with some kind of battle or escape plan. A huge BANG was heard and she froze.

A part of her broom had been shot clean off.

"Sorry kid, but can't have you trying anything to ruin our going away party now? How about it boys, let's throw one hell of a going away party!!" The third man who had so far not said anything stated. Aiming his gun at the terrified Ciel.

Maybe idealism wasn't such a great thing when in the Nothings...

(OOC: Hmm, I'm a bit rusty too so it would seem. Anyways, someone should be able to hear that gunshot huh? I hope so or Ciel could end up in a scene that's not kid friendly )

As WhoGirl was gazing into the windows, she flinched to the sound of a gunshot from not to far down the way, she knew she had to check it out. She ran to where the sound came from, and a small crowd seemed to be backing away from a perticular building.

Aprantly there were a number of people in here, from the different voices. She re-adjusted her goggles, then pulled out on of her smokers and tossed it in the doorway. As a thick cloud of smoke filled the area, Whogirl took out her two guns and snuck into the room, unnoticed, and went behind the counter. She saw a girl with a broom and an older man, who apprantly were the ones who owned this resturant. After the smoke would lighten a bit, she would have to find out who the enemies were here.

(I can see how Rice can be involved now. But not too sure about Stu and Carson, yet. )

(OOC: Maybe they want a cheap lunch?...)

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a large metal object flew passed Ciel and hit the ground in between her and the men. Both parties barely had the time to even react before the strange object suddenly released a puff of thick blinding smoke.

The policeman of the group had recognized the item as being a smoke bomb but the shock of seeing such an item here had taken him by surprise. He quickly grabbed a napkin from their table and covered his mouth and nose with it, to minimize chances of inhaling the smoke.

While the construction worker swore and tried to actually do battle with the smoke with his palms (useless dolt) the policeman quickly elbowed their third party who seemed to have also taken a napkin to cover up his breathing points. They both stopped moving and tried their best to listen to their surroundings for anything unusual...

However, the noise made by their idiotic partner would make this impossible...so they slowly backed away...placing the construction worker infront of them for now. These guys weren't about to run off because some kid who got their grubby hands on one smoke bomb wanted to play hero out here.

Ciel on the other had been taken by surprise by this new developpement but she wasn't about to waste a good chance to get her bearings back. After all, her ideals weren't dead yet and right now, they were saying that a little payback was in order.

She quickly told her uncle(he was standing right next to her at the time) to run out the door, who...didn't say all that much and ran off without her just as she was about to say that she'd catch up...

Ugh, why were people around here so...anyways, she should be used to it by now she supposed.

She quickly dashed towards the counter, not really caring about making sounds as the other three were making some kind of racket anyways and jumped over it, wanting to get at something she had hid behind it...

Apparently that wasn't the only thing that was hidden their however...

Rice listened as the dispatcher reported the location of a couple emergency calls. The first job for the day and it's just some smoke. Nevertheless, an officer is supposed to arrive at the scene as a fire righter is sure to. If the fire was serious, he knew he will be telling people to step away from a building for the next few hours...

He sighed and snapped the siren switch without looking. As he accelerated he wondered if the dispatcher would call a traffic officer to stand in for him quickly.

(to help get thing moving slightly and to show i didn't just sign up then abandon you all... honest... but there was the world cup... and I'm part Italian.... will intro Carson.)

Carson inspected him self in the mirror, looking for spots he might of missed while shaving. once satisfied, he moved out of the bathroom to the main living space in the apartment.

the open plan kitchen/diner/living room was sparsely decorated, but it was enough for Carson, he moved over to the small table that separated his couch from the kitchen.

Lying on the table was his gun, freshly cleaned, a shoulder holster with 2 spare clips, and the primary clip of the gun. He picked up the gun that lay there, then the clip, slotting it home in the hilt of the gun. putting it back down, he picked up his shoulder holster and put it on, slipping the gun in to the harness and securing it.

Moving to wards the Door she took is over coat down from the peg it hung on, slipping it on, he checked his appearance once more in the mirror.

"your a handsome devil, whats your name?" the Mirror didn't answer, he hadn't expected it too.

once on the Street, he turned and started towards the Nothings, he had some one to find.

WhoGirl peeked around the side of the counter, to try and get a good idea of what she was up against. It seemed like there were about 4 trouble makers at the moment. And it was obvious that the older man and the girl with the broom owned the resturaunt.
Suddenly the girl had jumped over the counter.
Whogirl grabbed the girl by the arm, pulling her out of sight. Whogirl raised a finger to her own mouth, signalling to the girl not to make any sounds.
She held her guns tight, double checking that everything was go. She didn't know if she would have to use them or not. These just might be a few drunks or teenagers starting trouble, after all. She scooted ovr to the edge of the counter, still crouching down- ready to jump out at the right moment.

Ciel felt a shudder of fear pass over her as she felt someone quickly grab her by the arm and yanking her down to the ground, such a quick and unexpected motion had caught her completly off guard. She was about to cry out in surprise but decided to atleast face whatever had caught her.

She seemed to be a bit younger than her judging from her looks, her long grey (OOC: Apparently gray can be spelt two ways, go figure) seemed to be held in twin pigtails by two weird hair ornaments on her head.

She calmed down and swallowed her scream as she made out the girl motionning her to keep quiet. Somehow, it would seem that someone had answered her prayers for help...however...Ciel stared at the guns with a bit of fear leftover in her eyes, she wondered if she had not somehow wandered into something that was a bit over her head.

OOC: Just to make things clear, Ciel is wondering if she hasn't been involved in some kind of gang war or something like that. You got to understand, the girl's somewhat brave but isn't use to this kind of thing and suddenly, another person pops out of seemingly nowhere to "help her". Which is something she isn't so sure of, after all, both parties are holding guns you know?

(understood ;D I am wondering though, do you want her to get all the goons? XP Rice seems to be arriving soon, so he might have to have someone left to keep him from getting after who?)
After getting a good look at the position of the four, WhoGirl hopped up onto the counter, the room still a bit fogged. She began firing in the direction of the man who had a gun drawn.

[Zop]

Rice rose an eyebrow when he saw the smoke. It seemed as though a thick fog had surrounded the building. He knew that normal smoke from a fire spread upwards.

He parked in the street, to block traffic, a few stores away. He noticed that there was no traffic... nor curious pedestrians in the vicinity. By now, there should be someone standing around, waiting to be asked for information.

Naturally, all his questions were immediately answered when he opened the car door and heard gun fire. He ducked in the car and reported the situation over the radio and then requested backup. He exited the vehicle and ducked behind the trunk to see the surroundings. Even if he could see clearly into the restaurant, it would be quite a bad idea to approach.

His eyes darted to the entrance when an older man stumbled out, coughing. Rice visually checked him for weapons before calling to him. Even with the smoke, he should be able to make out the colored flashing lights.

He clumsily ran to the car as he shouted, "HEY! *cough* They're in there- She's in there! Help *wheeze* her!"

Rice responded, "Get behind the car and don't move." When he complied, Rice continued, "What is happening?"

"Ciel- she's in there with the- the bad customers with the guns!"

Rice looked towards the restaurant again, contemplating how to proceed...

OOC wish me luck its been awhile.

Stu awkardly creeped around town wondering what the heck had he got himself into. This wasn't the sort of place he was used to. Gun shots, yelling, could be heard though the city noise, as he walked along the dirty sidewalk looking for his furture employer's business. He glanced once again at the paper in his hand, which read "wanted artist good pay and conditions" He looked around. Good conditions - you have to be kidding. He looked worried and not for the first time today wondered if he had made the best career move.

All too soon, a loud growl could be heard. " I need to eat something." he thought, "Just hope the food here is non toxic." With help and motivation from his growling stomach, he swiftly arrived in some kind of resurant/luch bar. Somthing was going on, he could feel it in the air. The smoke was thick and he could just make out the forms of a couple of shady characters.
